NOOMA Studio has been appointed to the Southwark Council architectural framework delivered through the LHC (Local Housing Consortium), joining a diverse group of practices commissioned to support public, community and housing‑related projects across the borough.

Southwark Council, in collaboration with the Local Housing Consortium (LHC), refreshed its architectural services framework to accelerate the delivery of high‑quality design across public sector and community‑facing buildings. The updated framework roster includes a range of practices selected for their expertise in housing, public realm, civic and community infrastructure.

NOOMA Studio’s appointment to this framework reflects its growing role in socially engaged design and public realm work in London. As part of the LHC panel, NOOMA is positioned to contribute to a variety of Southwark’s built environment priorities, from housing design and estate renewal to community facilities and inclusive public spaces.

The framework refresh brought together established and emerging practices, including globally recognised names such as Adjaye Associates and Mangera Yvars Architects, alongside nationally diverse and locally rooted studios. The collective group was chosen for its breadth of experience, design quality and capacity to work collaboratively with public sector clients to deliver sensitive, place‑based outcomes.

Being on the Southwark LHC framework enables NOOMA Studio to engage in a pipeline of commissions that support the council’s strategic objectives for sustainable, inclusive neighbourhoods and homes. It also strengthens the practice’s ongoing involvement in public sector‑led regeneration and community‑centred design across London.
